This Terms of Service Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between jolly_john998 (the “Owner”) and the user (“User”) of the Armed Forces Manager Discord bot (the “Bot”) and the USM Community Hub website at usm-rblx.com (the “Hub”). The Bot and the Hub together are the “Services”.
By using the Services, the User agrees to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If the User does not agree to the terms of this Agreement, they should immediately stop using the Services.
1. Use of the Services
The Owner grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Services for personal or non-commercial purposes. The Hub is for appealing server bans and the community blacklist, and for contacting the development team with bug reports, developer applications and reports about a developer.
2. Prohibited use
The User may not use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws, rules or regulations or infringes upon the rights of any third party. The User may not use the Services for any commercial purposes without the express written consent of the Owner. The User may not try to break, overload, scrape or get around the security of the Services, or access the Hub with automated tools.
3. Hub accounts
The User signs in to the Hub with their own Discord account, which needs a verified email address, and is responsible for what is sent from it. The User may not use someone else’s account or try to get access they weren’t given.
4. Appeals
- Appeals must be answered honestly. Appeals with false or misleading information may be denied.
- The User can have one open appeal per server and one for the blacklist. After a denial, the User must wait 30 days to appeal again.
- Staff decide appeals at their discretion, and no appeal is guaranteed to be accepted. Some blacklists are not appealable.
5. Tickets and uploads
- No spam, fake reports, harassment, or reports made in bad faith against a developer.
- Only upload images and videos you have the right to share and that show the issue being reported. Never upload anything illegal, sexual or violent, or anything showing someone’s personal information.
- Feedback, bug reports and suggestions may be used to improve the Services, with no obligation to the User.
6. Enforcement
If the User breaks this Agreement, the Owner and staff may refuse their appeals or tickets, remove their content, or block their use of the Services. This can also lead to action in the community’s Discord servers.
7. Limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is”. The Owner shall not be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Services, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, loss of data, or other intangible losses.
8. Modifications to the Services
The Owner may modify or discontinue the Services at any time without notice. The User agrees that the Owner shall not be liable to the User or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Services.
9. Intellectual property
The Services and all intellectual property rights therein are and shall remain the property of the Owner. The User agrees not to copy, modify or distribute the Services or any portion thereof without the express written consent of the Owner. The User keeps ownership of what they send, but allows the Services and their staff to store, display and use it to handle the User’s appeal or ticket.
10. Indemnification
The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of the User’s use of the Services.
11. Termination
This Agreement may be terminated by either party at any time for any reason. Upon termination, the User must immediately cease all use of the Services. The User can remove the Hub’s access to their Discord account under User Settings → Authorized Apps.
12. Privacy
How the Services handle information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to this Agreement
This Agreement may be updated. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version, and continued use of the Services after an update means the User accepts it.
14. Entire agreement
This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements or representations, whether written or oral, relating to the Services.
By using the Services, the User acknowledges that they have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions. Questions go to the Owner on Discord (jolly_john998).
